Get Started by Downloading the Modkit Desktop Widget.

Mac Downloads (10.5+)

Driver

Step 1) First you must install the drivers for you development board(s). Follow the instructions below for your particular board(s).

  1. Arduino UNO - the Arduino UNO should be plug-and-play and shouldn't need a driver. A dialog box will appear each time you plug in your UNO. You can simply close the dialog box.
  2. Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila - download and open the FTDI driver and click the packaged named FTDIUSBSerialDriver_10_4_10_5_10_6 to complete the installation

Desktop Widget

Step 2) Download and install the Mac Desktop Widget by dragging the "M" icon into your Applications folder.

Step 3) Launch the widget from your Applications folder and a small Modkit "M" should show up in the menu bar.

Compatible Browsers

Step 4) Once you have the drivers and the desktop widget, make sure you have one of the browsers below and you can then launch the Modkit Editor.

  2. Arduino Duemilanove or Diecimila - download and execute the FTDI driver to complete the installation

Step 2) Download and install the Windows Desktop Widget.

Step 3) Launch the widget and a small Modkit "M" should show up in the task bar. (if you have many task bar items you may have to click the "show-more" arrow)

Step 4) Once you have the drivers and the desktop widget, make sure you have one of the browsers below and you can then launch the Modkit Editor.
